well the second half was deleted thanks to the limit i was unaware of on travelblog.com.
rather than go on and on about the village museum (Which i would welcome a discussion about from other travellers who may have visited this very tourist site), just know that i miss everyone at home. i need to work on my swahili much more, and that i am keeping up on the news from the wonderful national english newspaper here, This Day. It is disheartening to hear about what is going on in the middle east and i hope that the immediate crisis can be solved quickly.
take care. kwa heri.

im sure the girl im studying with really appreciates this, but i thought it was a lovely little photo opportunity. handwashing is hard on my clothes but good for my bicepts and great for the soul. we dry on the spiral staircase that goes up the side of the building. nobody uses them as stairs though because they are all crumbling down.
