When we woke up at 5am it was still raining and there was no sign of it stopping soon, so we didn't bother going for a game drive. Instead we sat in the tent reading, eating and napping until we got out of the tent at 10am. It was still raining and unfortunately we had to pack up the tent in the rain – which is not ideal, as we will have to store a wet tent.

Once the tent was packed up, we went to reception and checked into our cabin. It was a three bedroom cabin and a nice change from camping in wet weather. Paul and I unpacked our car and relaxed in the cabin, as the weather outside was still miserable. Later today our friends Dustin, Heidi, Gavin and his parents arrived at the cabin. Paul was very excited as Gavin has a boat and they were going to be doing lots of fishing over the next few days.

Finally at 5pm it stopped raining and we all went for a short walk along the beach.
