February 2020. We are still in Tucson, Arizona, well, often anyway. We continue our wanderings and enjoying our adventures. We haven't lived outside the US in awhile, but have lived in: Guatemala, Ecuador, the Netherlands (twice), Germany (twice) and South Africa. Addo Elephant Park

As the name implies, there are LOTS of elephants in this park. Notice the tent camp is very near - what fun watching a family of elephants from your porch

Golden Gate Highlands Park

In a later visit to this park (2005) we went hiking at the base of this butte, but had to fend off baboons with rocks when they got too aggressive. They PROBABLY wouldn't have hurt us.

Tsitsikamma Park

This National park is on the coast - obviously - and just breathtakingly beautiful

Cape Town Wine Country

Just outside of Cape Town are many wonderful vineyards, lovely towns, and scenery to-die for

Jackass Penguins

Simon's Town, near Cape Town. They are called Jackass penguins because they make a braying sound that sounds EXACTLY like a donkey
