Had our first tasting at 10.00 a.m today. £3.00 for 5 tastings and a set of complimentary glasses to boot. Followed this with a further 3 tastings two of which were free. This time we were in Constancia. Roger prefered the red wine of the Constancia region and we both thought that the desert wine was to die for and we are not normally desert wine drinkers.
Just a little way up the road from our apartment is a restaurant called Harbour House. On Tuesday before their match against Uruguay, the entire Dutch Team went in for coffee and pastries. They all signed the visitors book and when we went in for a meal the waiter showed us the book.
He had pleasure in telling us that they had been asked to keep the visit low key. When the Holland Team arrived they were in a bright orange coach with about four out rider vehicles, numerous armed police and as the restaurant is right on the coast, two police patrol boats just off the coast. Well that's keeping a low profile for you.
Travel Home tomorrow.
