Stellenbosch -wineland country. First stop after capetown and a bonus to get on the road in the wee Chico 1400 at last. Cruising SAfrica stylee! Stayed at the Stumble Inn which was alright, nice spot but their tunes were pure rubbish. Everyone loves thier trance here in SAfrica, guys tried to convince us to go to some all night spring day rave in a ravine. We declined, probably just as well as he was involved in a crash on the way back the next morning. He was Ok but his pick up was not.

Did a wine tour, with a bunch of about 10 people and our guide Rhiann. Really beaut country side, but pouring with rain the whole time. Mountains looking pretty eerie. We were totally steaming by lunch time and loving Rhiann's wine tour rock mega mix in his minibus!! Visited 4 wine farms, learnt a lot about wine, how to taste it (as opposed to juts pouring it down your throat), how to open champagne with a sword?! and that I actually do like some red wine. One farm, Fairview, does goats cheeses as well so you taste all them too. OH my yum!! Particlaur fave being

the proper way to pop your cava cork - with a sword!
peppered goats cheese with watermelon preserve, delicious. Bought loads of yummy stuff and a bottle of Sauvy Blanc to have that night. Wine, cheese and hardcore trance - can't ask for much more than that!

Also spent a day hanging out at the Stellenbosch university, doing laundry, drinking coffee and pretending to be students again. It was cool but made me feel old.
