When i visited the small village of Hout Bay a couple months ago it was really amazing!!!Hout Bay is located on the other side of Table mountain and the drive there from Cape Town is beautiful as you travel along the coastline of the Atlantic ocean and watch as the clear, fresh blue waters laps up against the rocks. Hout Bay is a small fishing village with a small harbour and filled with boats entering and leaving. It is known for its 'Fish and Chips' and when i went there i knew i had to try it out. They were the best fish and chips i have ever tasted!! There are lots of restuarants to eat at with different meals to choose from. There is plenty accommodation to choose from, all set in quiet surroundings. I enjoyed relaxing on the beach, soaking up the sun with the smell of fresh caught fish in the background. It really is a quaint village and perfect for those who just want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city!
