Today was yet another beautiful day (as was yesterday). However, I will start from yesterday (as it was pretty uneventful). We went down to the waterfront early in the morning on Wednesday (2 May) to buy tickets to Robben Island, but they were all sold out for the day...so we bought tickets for Friday the 4th of May. The rest of yesterday was pretty chilled out. We walked over to Long Street (basically backpacker central, and lots of clubs, bars, restaurants, and craft markets). We did the rest of our shopping there for friends and family (yes, friends and family, you are getting presents). In the evening time, we called our friend Bar, whom we met in Oudtshoorn a few days ealier (I think he is of Indian descent), for dinner on the waterfront. He is studying for his MBA in Cape Town for a year. It was really nice to meet up with him and hang out, as we ate dinner at the school's restaurant (which had a wonderful view of Table Mountain).

Okay, now today (3 May)...we booked a full day tour with of the Cape Peninsula...which included the uneventful Hout Bay (although the view of it from

Once we arrived at the cape (part of Table Mountain National Park), we biked for 6km to the base of where we could hike up to the Cape Point's lighhouse (which we did). After that, we walked for about 45 minutes down the trail to the Cape of Good Hope. All in all, it was a great day, especially the weather (although tiring).

Upon arriving back at our hostel for the night (around 6pm), we had a brai with some chicken and beef kabobs that we bought yesterday, drank some wine from Stellenbosch, and had a quiet, relaxing night.

(...sorry, I'm getting a little burnt out with writing these journals. I do want to write one and publish it at soon as possible to keep my avid readers up on our travels...while they sit staring at their computers like robots)
