Here are some pictures and captions to tell a bit of the story!
Good news! the power has not gone out in... 4 days and classes are going well! Tomorrow has been declared a national holiday inorder to encourage voting for the municiple elections so no class for me!

Cape Point is now a natural preservation and home to ostrichs, rock rabbits, baboons and more! (but that is all we saw)

the indian side is about ..3 degrees C warmer i believe. I still think it's pretty darn cold though!

Parliment is in Cape Town (one of two S. African's Capitals, Pretoria being the 1st). There are amazing gardens behind them inwhich people lazily read all day, beg for money, or visit the museums!

one Sat. Night CIEE took us to a rugby game! Me, Tanya, Jesse, and Venessa cheered on the Western Cape Team, the Stormers who were against one of Australia's teams!
