Well here we are in sunny Cape Town folks!
After shrugging off our zombie like state after a mind numbing 11 hour flight from Frankfurt, we are enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Cape Town. Never have we seen such a contrasting city - the latest fashionable shops next to virtual slums.
The hostel is functional and clean, but more importantly about a 2 minute walk from the beach!
We would stay and post more here, but we are starving so we're off to sample some of the local cuisine.

Mind numbing? That's flying from Washington, DC to South Africa! And finding out that they lost your luggage too. Whenever one arrives at some airport, and you hear your name over the intercom - it's never a good thing.
