It was pretty warm today. So the five of us: Evan, Orrin, Tanner, Maaike (my new dutch roommate pronounced Micah) and I spent the majority of the afternoon today on the beach. Clifton is a small town in between Sea Point and Camps Bay, with cliffs and houses/condos/apts on both sides of the road. When the tide isn't too high, there are these fabulous beaches that you walk down to. Today the waves were huge so most of Clifton's 4 beaches were taken over by higher tide and water, but we took a nice walk from Clifton beach 2 to Clifton 4 and played in the water and on the beach for a few hours. It was very nice and relaxing. I was a little chilly until I did a bit of running around, handstands and jumping seaweed rope- but in all it was a very nice day on the beach. Not too much time in the water because it is the freeeeezing Atlantic Ocean. Thursday it is off to the Indian Ocean and its warm weather.
