We left PSJ and arrived in far more civilized Port Edward, and found a doctor!!!
After getting proper medicine, we booked into the Port Edward Holiday Resort, which is right on the beach. It is HUGE, it has self contained ,self catering units for all sizes,1/2/3/4 bedrooms,a camping area, a massive swimming pool,a restaurant, security and is very comfortable. You get several DSTV channels, all the sports ones, MNET and the movie channels, all units are fully equipped and serviced every day.
We had everything we needed and a great view from our little balcony.
It is within walking distance of shops and pubs and restaurants and of course the beach and some great fishing spots.
You have to go to The Webb for the best pizzas on the South Coast!
We spent most of our time resting, and suntanning, but we did manage to get in a walk along the Aloe trail, which goes a looong way along the coast. Due to the recent storms and tides, some of the paths have washed away in places, and it actually makes for a nice walk if you are up to scrambling over rocks and getting your feet wet in some places, plus we went at the

right time of the year to see all the aloes in bloom.
We had recovered sufficiently enough to go for a joll on the Wednesday night at Mothers Pub,thank goodness it is within walking distance of the resort....
The food at Mothers is great ,it provides a delicious lining for all the alcohol you will consume there...
Things to do while staying in/around Port Edward, visit the surrounding towns and beaches of Munster ,Leisure Bay,Palm Beach and Trafalgar. Visit Mac Bananas, for some huge bags of nuts and fruit and jams and sweets!!!
There is also the Old Pont resort near by, but we actually went there for a party while we were staying in Margate, so I will write about that later.
