By now, you all now it...the summer school holidays have started! We wake up early, are in bed by 10pm, and we do....a lot! So after nearly a week in Shelly Beach, we are back on the road! This blog is just short of 10 years old. We have now move to South Africa. Why South Africa? Simple, great wine, great food, great golf and even more amazing diving! I will for once continue to blog from time to time about home. After all, this is just my fourth continent after having grow up in Europe, lived in Asia for twenty years, and even spent a full year living the life of Buenos Aires. Rhodes and the Walkerbouts
Skiing in Tiffindell is high on our bucket list. We came to Rhodes in 2009 a bit too early in the season. And we also stayed in the Walkerbouts. It is such a lovely place and we remember celebrating my birthday in the bar (which was really crazy). Thanks for the wonderful blog which brought back the amazing memories. And always remember: a rented car takes you everywhere (that is what Bob from Walkerbouts said to us when we arrived there over Naudesnek Pass with a Volksie). Enjoy your time in ZA!

Next time...
As the South Africans are telling us...come for a 3 or 7 days package....I try to really deal with what could this mean...you ski one day, you drink 2 or 6 days? Not sure I share their view...but I have friends who did the 3 nights package...and they had a lot of fun....in the bar!
