Well we had planned to get to East London and then get the bus to Coffee Bay but we discovered it was quicker to have the shuttle take us to a place called Cintsa and get on the baz bus there. They left us at a hostel called Buccaneers which looked amazing and we were a bit gutted we hadn't decided to stay there. An american guy who works there told us that we had loads of time before the bus was going to pick us up and that it would probably be here at 12:30 - 1pm, so we left our bags and walked down to the beach front for a paddle, however when we got back to the hostel the bus had already been!! It had come at 12pm......so we were a bit disappointed but thankfully they had beds spare in Bucanneers so we stayed there for the night. It had a fantastic bar area with pool table etc and also its own pool with bar etc so it worked out alright. The american guy called A.J. bought us all drinks to make up for his mistake and it was actually his leaving do that night so it was

Me, Paul and Caitlin on the beach in Cintsa - missing the bus!! pretty good fun and we're quite glad we stayed although due to day shortage it meant we couldnt stop at Coffee Bay.
So the next day we were in plenty of time for the bus(!) and unfortuately had to go all the way to Durban in one day. On the timetable it was going to take 10 hours but it only took us 8 because we didnt have to drop many people off so that was great. The bus trip was really good though because it took us all through the Transkei region which is the most beautiful area of South Africa. Mountains, valleys and forests made up the scenery and we also went through the village where Nelson Mandela grew up as a kid. The driver was really funny and told us lots of stuff about the areas we were travelling through. When we got to Durban I had to say bye to Jamie, Paul and Caitlin which was a shame because we'd had a really good few days. I got the driver to drop me off at the hostel closest to the north of Durban so it would be closest for Myles and Hilton to come pick
