For numerous reasons, we have decided to leave the Peace Corps, and return home. Our experience in Senegal has been something that we wouldn't trade for the world, and return with new ideas and motivation for the next step in our lives. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way, and we look forward to sharing our adventure with anyone who would like to hear about it!

Senegal

Independent from France in 1960, Senegal joined with The Gambia to form the nominal confederation of Senegambia in 1982. However, the envisaged integration of the two countries was never carried out, and the union was dissolved in 1989. Despite peace...more info
