We didn't expect to be here when we left on our big trip but here we are on a little piece of France a couple of thousand miles away from Europe in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Hello! So yes Reunion is very French because it is a French Territory. Similar type pf situation than Guadeloupe and Martinique. So if you want it is a region of France like Corsica or Auvergne would be. Seems strange but it is all due to our colonial past. I guess you could compare that to Hong-Kong for the Brits.
