What corrupts Nigeria the most is unforchunatly its natural resource. Oil, a prized natural resource is found in Nigeria, and it has caused the country quite a few issues. Since the government recieves the revenue of 2/3rds of every barrel of oil, the money comes into the governments hands and does not return the wealth back to the people. It is as if the public office uses oil for its own private game. The citizens who work for the oil don't get the revenue that they deserve. On top of it, their president (or dictator depending on who you talk to), Sani Abacha, steals about 5 million dollars a day. Bribary and corruption consume Nigeria over the natural resource that everyone wants-oil.
