This is a city of huge contrasts: here are some pictures that illustrate what I mean

some are almost palatial

and this one

very elaborate entry door, it even has a mirror which is really a security mirror where the guard can see who is coming from inside

we drive by this area on the way to work

the garbage is just left in the field; the stench is pretty bad

this is part of the courtyard where kids play
