We completed our packing and had arranged for help getting the bags down the stairs. Prettyt impressive watching guy put my large bag on shoulder and pick up one of the secondary bags with the other hand and run down four flights on stairs!
Nice breakfast, said our goodbyes and we were off. This time spent more time taking pictures and looking at things as we headed back to Antananarivo. Stopped in Moramonga and changed some money so we could pay the driver when we got to Madagascar Underground.
Uneventful trip but very colorful along the the way. Was Saturday and market day in most places we passed through so beautiful fruits, vegetables, cloths, and other wares displayed. It was also wash day and passed several places where the laundry was laid out to dry along the hillside.
Got to Antananarivo and the market day was a full swing there are well so was slow getting through. Made one wrong turn but got to Madagascar Underground and got checked in. Ryan and Cristina were back and got to meet Cristina that first night.
Got to meet Ryan the next day and talk to him about some of his amazing discoveries diving in the
caves in Madagascar. Had dived in Central America and Mexico as well. Very interesting work he is doing.
Did get out into the city and visit the Air Mauritius office, do some shopping for meals and just looked around. Because it was Sunday and Monday, the streets were not as crowded as they had been when we first arrived.
Had nice evenings at the bar visiting with traveler's from around the world exchanging information and stories and just relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere.
