(Just a little background)...In your lifetime you are blessed if you have a handful of people that you can call 'true friends'. I had one in Kenya when I was there teaching school for 5 years. Her name was Jackie. I taught Jackie's two children, Tracy and Brandon and fell in love with them as if they were my own. Our friendship remained strong even after I left Kenya; however I could feel it in my soul when something went terribly wrong. Jackie fought a 14 year battle with a rare form of Alzheimers.
