Day 2 of the trail was unbelievable we travelled 240km on and road that gradually deteriorated into a two wheeled track through some of the most interesting hills we had seen yet.

The bikers were having a hard time of it as the sun was unrelenting and the track demanded the riders stand to aid control. As we approached the Lake the hills changed to a barren rock studded moon scape, not unlike the road into lake Eyre back in Australia.. how ever the great part was the lake was full and it is huge with volcanic peaks in the distance… Lake Eyre is very boring compared to this area!!..

Arrived into a little village with lots of very tribal people living off god know what.. I can only think they like eating crocodile as there was nothing green for miles. Anyway found an acceptable place to camp and we holed up for the night.
