The wildebeest will all gather at the river's edge waiting for one (very brave or very stupid) to take the plunge they they all follow. The river is filled with danger including crocodiles, risk of breaking a leg on the rocks, drowning and getting trampled by other wildebeests in the rush to get to the other side.
