I began this blog as a recent graduate of Benedictine College, and traveled to Benin, Africa with the Peace Corps. I was there for 27 months, and enjoyed sharing everything I did there with friends and family at home. Whatever I say within these blogs speaks for my life in Benin, and does not have any connection whatsoever with the views of the United States Peace Corps itself.

At the Beach
The ultimate relaxation, even with a little rain and terrifying waves.

It doesn't take long to get sand in every fold of your body on this beach- but it's fun to get wet.

Dinner Time
My birthday dinner- lentil burgers, noodle/vegetable salad, french fries, and drinks. Some of the best food I have ever eaten.

Luckily the mangoes had already fallen, or else this stop would not have been so pleasant.

Kate seems to have only one really excited face, and it works for everything from breakfast to indian dinner.
