Have you made blogs that provide useful travel information, or have you come across some on TravelBlog?
Jabe usually (always?) includes information about the places he stayed at and transport he took at the end of his blogs.

Reply to this First time on this site and first post whooooo 😊
Anyhoo, Me and my wife are planning a world trip to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Asia, we have no idea what to do so a thread like this can really help us with things like budgeting, accomodation, safety and generally places to see and how to get to them 😊
Great thread mate, hopefully some more people will add to it and us first time travellers can get some good information and advice about travelling.
Reply to this Hi Yaser,
Welcome to TravelBlog.
If you have any questions not covered by the Useful Blogs thread, just ask away in the relevant forum 😊
Reply to this I try to include little tips in my blogs with other travellers in mind but I don't give details of where I stayed (I'd be here all day if I started doing that!). My first blog
A Native's Guide to Melbourne and the next one
My First NZ Holiday (South Island) were written exclusively with other travellers in mind and include links to lots of places websites and other useful info. I didn't do that with my europe blogs because it's hard to keep on top of such things while travelling and paying for internet cafes.
Reply to this I have been reading blogs for quite a while now and I am always on the look out for ones that will help me get a better idea of what to do and expect on my own travels when they come. I found this blog very helpful, especially to give an idea of costs.
Going Global Reply to this If you have time Tina, would you point out which blogs by Going Global were particularly helpful for providing information and a brief description of the information they provided. We can then add them to the lists of information giving blogs we are making. 😊
Reply to this I found the whole blog useful because he gave information as he went along e.g. how much food and lodgings were. But probably the last 2 blogs he wrote would be quite helpful as he gives a summary of what he enjoyed the most and a break down of costs ect.
going global last 2 blogs Reply to this Moderator Note: this thread is for members to post links to TravelBlog entries they found useful, not for links to external sites.
Reply to this Thanks Liliram 😊
We have put theRedRivers guide to vietnam blog on the list for the Asia forum. Would you mind pointing out which of her other blogs give information, and which information they give, so we can decide which list to put them on.

When we started our adventure around the world many friends asked about how we planned our trip. The beauty of it was not planning much of the trip because we wanted independence and a free flowing experience.
This was foreign to our nature because both of us are planners.
One of our first blogs explained our around the world ticket and from comments we have received and e-mails from friends it provided details that many have used to get started.

Hopefully for those of you wanting to get started this will help with the first step.
Reply to this Thanks Dave and Merry Jo. 😊
I made a thread for blogs about general travel information now, and yours is the first in the collection.
Here it is.

The useful blogs thread is for Travelblog blogs, not for promoting blogs on other websites, particularly if it's your own!
Reply to this My blog is filled with information regarding transport, costs, times, etc. Man do I love Travelblog! Countless others have helped me as well!
Reply to this What is the motive of this thread? I cannot getting meaning of the varieties of thread done here. If you really want to check blog done on travelblog.org, then most check this https://www.travelblog.org/Asia/India/Punjab/Mohali/blog-962497.html
