We left Grand Tetons this morning in the heaviest haze yet. We were surprised at how thick the smoke was, we couldn't even see the tops of the mountains. We headed east from Moran through beautiful country, but the smoke was so thick it was like looking through a curtain. So, not many pictures.

We crossed the Continental Divide at 9600+ feet, hoping it would be less smoky on the eastern side. Nope, still smoky.

We drove through Dubois to Longhorn Campground, where we are to meet Tom, Kerry's oldest friend. We arrived early in the afternoon and took advantage of electrical hookups by charging our electronics. We also made a quick trip to the grocery. Back at the camper, I put some potatoes in the crockpot for supper and posted the previous blog.

When Tom and friends got back from fishing we had a good visit followed by a great dinner. How wonderful to spend time with old friends.
