Estonian Adventure Summer 2017.......First thoughts of Lithuania, Ringaudai

Ok so we have been travelling for 10 days and I thought it was time for a break, you know chill out and no driving, do some laundry. So I found a little on bookings, sounded perfect, 2 bedroom apt with access to pool, washing machine, kitchen , yard and easy walk to stores. Ok

So we arrive very nice clean place but you only get 1 bedroom of the apt, you may or may not have to share the toilet and shower room also the kitchen and lounge area, we were lucky we did NOT have to share but, not really what we had expected or wanted but we have learned over time that you make the best of what you have.

Rigaudai turned out to be a sleepy little suburb with only one grocery store that we found, the houses were huge with big yards, most with fences and security cameras on them. No one outside enjoying the sunshine or their well manicured lawns with their emaculate beautiful gardens and flowes. The one and only playground that we saw was chained and lock up tight, not sure where the kids played during their summer holiday from school. We found the whole place quite odd. Not that the house that we stayed in wasn't lovely we decided it was not for us on our return trip and cancelled the next return visit on our way back.

We did venture out to the grocery store, where you can find every thing you need , but we did find that oddly enough most people had a bad body oder. Sorry to offend anyone, but just talking about our experience.

So just a few pictures of where we stayed, nice, but wouldn't recommend it.
