Our stop in Mexico

We arrived in Ensenada today. Our tour was at 9:45 so we met the girls for breakfast at 9:00 in Beach Blanket. Then we headed to Diversions to meet for the excursion.

We boarded a bus and took a brief tour of the city before driving to the restaurant where we were going to learn to prepare Mexican food and eat it.

When we sat down, we had molajetes with a whole tomato, some onion, a chili pepper, cilantro, lime, and avocado. We first made salsa Mexicana with all but the avocado and then we mashed the avocado and added it to the salsa to make guacamole. It was delicious.

Our next dish was chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. Followed by tostados with beans and shredded beef.

We all enjoyed our lunch experience, even Kelsie who didn't want to go on the tour.

After lunch we walked along the main shopping plaza and did a little shopping for Mexican goodies before boarding the bus back to the ship.

Because we had sun for the first time in almost 5 days Nikki, Regan and I went up to the pool deck to get some sun while Kelsie ran off to find her friends. We spent about an hour and a half laying in the sun before we headed down to our rooms to pack.

Then, it was time for dinner. Our dinner was in Animators Palate and was the Til We Meet Again menu. After dinner we went to the show which was Remember the Magic. Kelsie and her friends were in the video saying "Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust".

We then headed to our rooms to put the last items in the luggage and put them out in the hallway. Then Regan, Nikki and I went to the Til We Meet Again show in the atrium.

After the show, Nikki went to see Real Steel and Regan and I went to Pub Night in Wavebands.

Then, it was time for bed. We have breakfast early tomorrow so we need a little sleep.

Afternote: Kelsie did not go to sleep last night.

Dinner:
Ric: Tuna sashimi, cranberry salad, beef wellington, apple cranberry pie
Nikki: Crab salad in tomato, cranberry salad, beef wellington, apple cranberry pie
Regan: Potatoes and goat cheese, potato leek soup, beef wellington and apple cranberry pie
Kelsie: Potatoes and goat cheese, potato leek soup, Cornish hen and baked alaska
