End of Cruise

Today was our disembarkation day...always a sad day. Luckily we have a few more days of vacation before heading home.

Because of tides and schedule in Dover, we disembark later than normal on the Disney ships. We had breakfast at 8:00 am and then had to wait in the public areas until it was time to disembark. We were off the ship around 10:30 and on the way to the airport.

We had arranged our transportation to the airport through Disney Cruise Line so the bus took us to Terminal 4 for British Airway. We arrived there close to 12:30 and tried to switch our 4:30 flight to something earlier but, our tickets prohibited any change.

We grabbed lunch and just waited in the airport for our flight to leave. It was delayed and instead of leaving at 4:20pm we left at 5:00pm and arrived in Paris at 7:00pm. Made it through customs and made that long walk to the train station where we purchased tickets to Disneyland Paris. The train ride took 9 minutes and then we grabbed all 300 pounds of luggage and began a LONG walk to the hotel from the train station (I found out at check in that we could have taken a bus).

We checked in and headed over to Disneyland since it was open until 11 pm. Unfortunately, what that meant was that Main Street was open until 11 but the rest of the park closed around 9. We were able to wander around a little and then go on Big Thunder Mountain before heading to Main Street to see the Enchanted Fireworks.

We then walked out of the park and back to the hotel for bed. This is going to be a short night because Disneyland opens at 8:00 am and we didn't get to bed until midnight.

Dinner:
Hot Dogs and Fries to share at 10:45 pm waiting for the fireworks on Main Street
