The ship docked in Tallinn, Eastonia around 9:00 am this morning and, after eating breakfast at Parrot Cay we went to meet our shore excursion. Today we did a cycling and Old Town tour.

We started out on a 30 minute bus ride to Rocco al Mare park for a 2 mile bike ride. We began our ride on a path on the outside of the park that took us about 20 minutes. Then we entered Rocco al Mare. It is what they called an "open air park". I would equate it to Williamburg, This is the Place State Park or Jamestown Settlement. They have created an Eastonian Village of the 18th century. We rode our bikes around to the various buildings for about 2 hours before stopping for pancakes and jam and a (nasty) root beer made from bread ingredients and brewed like beer but containing no sugar so it doesn't ferment.

After our snack, we headed to Old Town Tallinn. It is the old part of the walled city and looks very much like a quaint European town. We saw the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Parliament House, and stopped at two overlook points to see the rest of Old Town. After our tour we opted to stay in Old Town and take the shuttle back after doing a little shopping and sightseeing on our own. We saw Niguliste Chapel, Town Square and Town Hall. Then, walked around the cobblestone streets before heading to the shuttle stop to get back to the ship.

At the pier was a flea market and we walked through there before getting back on the ship just a little ahead of our 4:15 all aboard.

We grabbed a quick lunch on deck 9 and then Nikki and I went up to swim while the girls chilled in the room.

Tonight was the Pirates in the Caribbean themed night. We had dinner in Lumiere's. The show was Ron Pearson who is a comedian and juggler. We have seen him before and the girls love him. The Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party was unable to have fireworks due to Baltic regulation and due to the wind Mickey didn't make his usual entrance so the party was missing some of its excitement.

Dinner:

Ric: Pineapple with orange sauce, Honeydew and Watermelon Soup, BBQ Ribs and a dessert trio

Nikki: Pineapple with orange sauce, Honeydew and Watermelon Soup, Pasta with Scallops and Shrimp and chocolate cake

Kelsie: Pot Stickers, Honeydew and Watermelon Soup, Caribbean Spiced Chicken and a dessert trio

Regan: Pineapple with orange sauce, Conch Chowder, Mahi Mahi, Cheesecake and a fruit cloud

The bike tour sounds like a lot of fun. Strange to see the deck party in daylight! Steve

Pirates in the Caribbean during "daylight"...how bizarre! Guess the fireworks would have been lacking anyway with that! It does add a difference to your cruise...that is cool!

Fmalily, could you tell me what that means? The captions to one of your pictures. OK I know it is a spelling error. Just had to give you some "Flack"
