Here are some photos with text to give a feel of our Whitsunday Islands time. Once again the weather could have been a bit kinder but the rain today has given us a breather to plan our fast approaching time in Sydney and to catch up with laundry. Oh yes, and I got a long over due hair cut - please note that the photo of me below includes a hat which wasn't just for protection from the sun. Watch out for the next one with my smart Aussie styling!

Tomorrow we will travel further south towards our treat of 4 days on Heron Island and then Sydney afterwards.

With just 8 other passengers and 2 crew, we had a great couple of days of sailing with time for snorkelling, paddle boarding and even transparent kayaking with stingrays below us!

I will have to try photoshoping some blue into the sky! This morning it was pouring with rain so we were lucky to get a dry moment for our afternoon excursion.

Hello from Anita!
Hi M &M, loving your pics with captions! Brought back memories of my trip to the Whitsundays (long time ago now!) The catamaran sailing looks fabulous. They certainly fo in for large size mangoes! We are off to Italy on Friday until 28/5 - Sat + Sun at the Rome Masters then taking off in a hire car to Umbria. I seem to think that you will back in the mother country while we are away. Will get in touch with you when we are back. In the meantime, happy travelling! Love Anita & Mark xx
