Could not leave Hains Junction without taking a few more pics of this awesome view.
So I have included them on this day as we left for Alaska
Well,, the rain hit us today. Twenty minutes into our ride it was 51 degrees and rain for 300 miles. 50 miles of this was gravel under construction. Honestly I was dry and warm as I have the right gear
for this but the gravel had a slippery surface so it was intense.
Made it through fine and in Destruction Bay Yukon even though it was heavy overcast and rain, the views were very cool. All of theWm are unedited and I just bulk upload them.
We got through customs into Alaska with no problems.
We got about 100 miles into Alaska to the small town of Tok and were so tired that we decided to spent the night
Tok is an interesting town as anyone driving into and out of Alaska most likely has to go through Tok.
In fact when we leave Alaska we have to go back the same route all the way to Watson Lake Yukon to catch a road south
into BC. Crazy.
I can tell you that my bike has never been this dirty. Going to find a car wash soon.
As I write this I am getting sleepy so I will post my pictures of the day and get some rest as we go to Fairbanks tomorrow. About 300 miles.
See you on Day 11
