Oi Oi

After San Diego I went upto Santa Barbara for a couple of nights, staying at the Santa Barbara Tourist hostel. It is picturesque little place with a biggish a student population, with most activity in and around State Street. I done a bit of walking up and down the pier, the beach and down town but all in all nothing exciting!

The Youth Hostel had a really good atmosphere, it had loads of students staying there who couldn't find any accomodation anywhere else. A few of them worked at the hostel when they didn't have class and they were always entertaining, a couple of Ivan Campos (Gay guys) called Edison and Alex were always quick to compliment all the guests on what they were wearing?!?!

I got quite pally wih a couple of Ozzies from Adelaide, Reece and Helen, and we saw the nights out playing cards till the early hours. Actually thats one thing that was good about the hostel, the two tables in the Lounge were shaped and designes like records, one Beatles and one Elvis- looked cool.

I managed to watch Liverpool V Galatasaray in one of the two English Pubs I noticed in Town, I missed kick off by half an hour after miscalculating the time difference though. I did make it in time though to witness Peter Crouch add yet more weight to the arguement that he's better than Ronaldinho though- what a hit son!

So in a nutshell (a very small nutshell!) that was Santa Barbara, next stop San Francisco
