I have been in Koh Lanta for the last 3 weeks. As a single digital nomad, it can get lonely from time to time when you show up in a new town and don't know anybody yet. Not only did I get to make friends more quickly upon arrival, but I also got to network with other digital nomads and learn about the various ways they all make money.

About 3 years ago, I had seen the nomadlist.com which ranks the best places for digital nomads to live based upon a number of criteria including Internet speeds, cost of living, and quality of life in general. I accessed the nomadlist.com because I wanted to head to the Islands in Thailand and wanted to know an Island that ranked high on the Nomadlist. There, I discovered that the Nomadlist now has a community of Nomads that all communicate in a messaging community. I was told to go stay at the kohub.org in Koh Lanta, Off I went.

To give you an idea of cost, it was about $1000.00 month for a 1 bedroom hotel room, 2 meals a day, and an open office community with blazing fast Internet and all the coffee you can drink.

It is a coworking community where digital nomads work and play together.

I also discovered that there are co-worker hubs all over the world now (http://kohub.org/friends-of-kohub/). I met a bunch of digital nomads and had a great time. I am sure I'll be back, and I am sure I will visit hubs all over the world now. I think I found my people. I have called myself untethered in the past, but my people call us digital nomads.

As a bonus, I also learned from some of the other single digital nomads, that there are several single digital nomad dating websites now. So if you are interested in finding out more about single digital nomads, digital nomad dating, or digital nomads in general, please feel free to send me a message here or friend me on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Buck.Fifty

Stay tuned.
