We have arrived in Santiago and have received the Compostela.
It was a short walk, only 11 km, and not very interesting.
I cannot express the sense of accomplishment and the gratitude on being here. The emotions are high. Seeing friends who have also struggled and survived the challenges is also gratifying. I cannot explain how this group of walkers have become our family on the Camino.
We spent the second day visiting the cathedral and its museum. We met up with friends and celebrated.
We went to the evening pilgrim mass and saw the Botafumerio flying with insence burning.
Tomorrow we go to Finisterra, another 90 km walk.
