Jenna's nest
It's wonder there's room for her with all her mess Sunday, 5 July, 2015
It was a fairly uneventful day, the kind we like best. We drove through the rest of New Mexico and the panhandle of Texas. We stopped at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo so Jenna could add her mark to the cadillacs there. We drove a short way into Oklahoma to Sayre, where they have a wonderful city park with a nice campground for only $12.

We got through Oklahoma with their lousy roads and into Arkansas. We stopped for the night at Spadra Park Campground, south of Clarksville. It's a lovely Army Corps of Engineers campground on a bluff overlooking the Arkansas River. The river is full and fast moving.
Tuesday, 7 July
We were happy to get out of Arkansas and then through Memphis. Home sure looks good. There has been a lot of rain while we were away and everything looks green and lush.
Here are our final stats:
6,183 total miles driven
14 states visited
26 nights away
$16.99 average cost of campground per night
488.711 gallons of gas we purchased
$2.754 average cost per gallon of gas
Thanks for following along with us.
