Hi travel followers.
Another two weeks have passed and we have slowed our pace a little as the weather has been absolutely fantastic where we are. I.e. After Cape Hillsborough we headed to Proserpine for a night and then Airlie Beach for a "week".
During our time here we took a fishing charter to the inner islands which was a great time out on the water and I caught a couple of fish. (See photo of my Nannygai.)
On another day we did the short drive to Conway National park for a great 6km walk through the rainforest and then it was onto Cedar Creek Falls for another great little walk and climb to the top of the falls etc. While still at Airlie we also did a day trip up to Dingo Beach and Hydeaway bay.
The Seabreeze Tourist Park where we stayed is in an excellent location, very central to everything and has the bonus of great walking tracks around the harbour and foreshore etc.
After leaving Airlie we headed for Bowen for another "week" just spending the days doing all the walking trails around and over the hills, swimming, snorkelling and just generally
laying around on the beach at Horseshoe Bay.
The park we are in here at Queens Bay is again in an excellent spot and very central with great walking opportunities. It also has the bonus of great water views as our site is right on the waters edge. The sunsets and sunrises have been spectacular and the weather and temperature just couldn't be better I.e. between min of 16C and max 28C almost every day.

Lovely photos - living the dream. Hopefully this will be me soon in a year maybe - leaving China and heading for Greece. Fingers crossed.
