Today was a relaxed start to the day, no getting up to early.

Once we were all ready we headed round to the bus station via a food hall for breakfast, Claire and Marcus decided to opt for dumplings and I had noodles, the food was lovely and for about £2.80 you can't complain.

After we finished we popped into the supermarket for supplies and onto the bus for Zangjiajie national park.

Thank god for having Marcus with us who can speak a bit of the lingo.

Once we got to the park and paid to get in we headed to the cable car, there was no way Claire was going to walk up this mountain and to be honest I'm glad we didn't, whilst walking to the cable car a guide stopped us and offered us a deal on the tickets this turned into another little result, a little discount and we jumped the queues again, result.

What a view as we went up looking down on where we had come from and up on where we were heading.

From the cable car platform we set of walking the loop round the top of the mountain stoping at the various view points and being blown away by the views, to be honest I can't think of words to explain how magnificent this place is.

After stoping to take in the view of probably the most well know part of the park Five Finger Peak and how stunning it was we started to head back down, I reckon this must have taken a good hour at least, I think we have all walked down enough steeps to last us a life time.

On the way we came across a group of monkeys which kept us amused for a while, especially Marcus when one of then older monkeys pushed a baby monkey clean of a feeding platform flat onto its face.

Once at the bottom we headed for an icecream and to the bus back to Zangjiajie, once there we headed back to the supermarket for supplies of different beer and all sorts of different Oreo cookies which you can't get back home In the UK.

As I write this we are sat in our room, we have tried all different cookies and are now trying the pineapple beer.

After a little rest I think we will be heading back out for something to eat and get ready for tomorrow's visit to Tianmen Shan or in English Heaven's Door.
