This was huge! A crystal ball.
It's definitely cooled down a bit, though still warm. Obviously the altitude is higher here. This morning there were kangaroos all over the fields near us! Missed a photo though.

Not sure Mareeba grabbed me as a town so was happy to be heading out. No particular reason just the vibe, your honor!

A short drive into Atherton which seemed liked a nice town. We stopped for some breaky and provisions. It's a quaint little town and felt good. People were very friendly. Lots of $2 shops which is great when you need bits and pieces. We set the jury rigged door up with a better option which was great!

Last minute decision saw 2 of the worlds best apple turnovers sneak their way into our fridge! For later! (Pictures to follow)

We saw a sign for The Crystal caves' and asked. It's a shop in the Main Street that this famous guy created like underground caves. He has the most amazing collection of crystals from around the world particularly amethysts. It was spectacular! We spent over an hour looking through. My favourite was this MASSIVE crystal ball. Took lots of photos but I don't

You can see the size of it. What an amazing crystal!
think they do them justice. If you ever in Atherton you should go! The energy was so beautiful in there. I bought a couple of rose Quartz and amethysts to go. It's a brilliant place...

Later on we happened on to see a sign for Innot Hot springs. We called in for a coffee at a dodgy looking place and this very friendly lady explained all about these hot springs. They come from the ground at over 80 degrees! This couple have built pools of varying degrees of temperature. They are building the area up, that's why its very unknown at the present. So they only charge $10 a day to use the pools. By the end of the year they intend to have it all schmick. We spent about 2 hours there. It was amazing! One pool was 48 degrees! Fabulous. Then you jumped into the plunge pool. Not freezing but cold. Best thing ever! So glad we happened by them! (no photos because we left the camera in the Bago.

We ended the day in a place called Mount Surprise. A quaint little place, pretty low brow but cheap and clean. Russell used to have a
