Parting is such sweet sorrow

Well, this entry will be very short as it is now just past midnight, and Joe and I have to get up at 5 to get going to the airport to fly out. I can't believe how quickly the past few days have flown by! I'm proud of myself for not crying when saying good bye to so many people the past few weeks. I have to say, the kids are the worst for me...back at the beginning of August, saying good-bye to the neice and nephews, trying to explain to them that they would be done another year of school before we saw them again...my landlords 4-year-old made me cry when we moved out because he hugged me so tight and wouldn't let go of me! and tonight saying bye to Kaitlynn the cutie! Surprisingly, through it all it was just the kids and my grandma who have made me teary-eyed (grandma said she was going to have a good cry after we left!) Not that I'm not sad to leave the rest of you, just that I know that you will all be more or less the same when we get back (hopefully) maybe engaged, married, preggers or with a newborn, but really, more or less the same, life goes on... That being said...keep in touch please, you all have asked to keep updated on what we're doing, but we don't want to miss all those little things at home either!
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now because I need to get to bed, and I really am excited to sit on an plane/in an airport for over 24 hours very soon...
HOPEFULLY the meeting in LAX with Cara and Scott goes as planned!

See all of you sometime next summer!

Meeting will be such beautiful bliss!
Enjoy every minute, never let the trees obscure the forest (and the forest will be beautiful), meet the challenges head on, and take care of each other. Joie de vivre!
