Today, was going to be a regular day, but the great part was that Ania was coming. She was coming in kinda early and there was a long drive to get from Yellowstone to Great Falls Montana. But then we heard that Ania was coming in late because her first flight was cancelled so she was going to come in the middle of the night. I would not be able to see her that day. Because she was not going to arrive today, we did a lot of things that were not planned.

First thing we did was go to Mammoth Hot Springs, our last stop in Yellowstone Park. They were really cool because they were like steps. One of the points it was really cool because it was a little waterfall. They were really white and looked like flour. It was really cool to see the view from the top.

Then we had a kinda long drive to go into Montana. Montana was my 9th state. First thing we did in Montana was change our car because our first car was very small and had barely enough space to put all our stuff. There was no way that everything would fit once had Ania's stuff. I was already squished in the back. We got a big Toyota Sequoia which was a perfect big car for driving all of us.

Then we went to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. The first thing we did was see a movie in the big planetarium. It was a big icecube that was meant to be a telescope underground looking at really small things in space. It was really good. Then we saw a bunch of dinosaur fossils, and Vitor saw his favorite dinosaur, Ankylosaurus. (I never heard of it.) We saw Native American exhibit and the last thing was gecko exhibit. Then, we went to the gift shop and Vitor bought himself a lollipop with a real cricket in it! Vitor ate it all up and said it was gummy and weird.

Then we drove to Great Falls and went to our kinda fancy hotel after staying in cabins and tents for a few nights. Then we went food shopping and then relaxed. Then I went to bed and I was so excited to meet Ania in the morning.

Daddy's Comments:

Yes, very bummed to get the call that Ania's flight was cancelled. I guess that is a little better than the first time she visited me in which I got the call from her after I knew she had taken off from connecting flight in Atlanta..."Hey, I am in Jacksonville". No she did not get on the wrong flight, but instead emergency landing. Anyway we made some adjustments to our plans and took things slow, first checking out Mammoth Springs which was beautiful. Yes, it was time to make the 4th car change. Went from original reservation (without Ania) midsize car to a full size car (with Ania) reservation, but then when arrived in Jackson Hole knew that it was not big enough so got a midsize SUV.....With all our stuff (tents, air mattresses, liners, etc) in addition to food and other supplies we picked up on the way, there was no way we would fit Ania and her stuff (even though she only had 1 bag), so we exchanged our midsize SUV for large SUV - Toyota Sequoia and put the back seats down. What a cool ride it was.....Museum was great and Sofia and Vitor loved it. Then off to Great Falls. Food shopping and packed lunches for the next day though Sofia and Vitor refused to have another PB&J (okay, after 4 days got old)...
