Oberammergau and Mittenwald

Yesterday we have traveled from Barvaria to Koblach Austria which is across the Rhine River from the eastern border of Switzerland. it was only about 200 miles but stopping at Oberammergau and Mittenwald it took us most of the day. Both of these villages have a multiple of structures that are beautiful painted in a special way. They are painted in a 3D look. Look closely the painting is such that it gives the appearance of depth. So far today we have stayed close to home as it has been raining all day
