On day 11 we had a free day to explore Cusco. I'm currently writing this a few days later though so might forget a few things. From what I remember we got up moderately early and saw the main square, some more beautiful churches and we went to a few museums. One museum was about the history of the Incas with a few pieces of art, sculptures and pottery. But the second museum was my favourite: A chocolate museum!!! We learnt about the coco plants and how the chocolate was made. Then we got to try multiple types of chocolate and we had a make-it-yourself hot chocolate and chocolate bread thing. It was delicious!!! Then we went shopping and had dinner with everyone. The next day we had no idea what we were really doing as the majority of our group was starting an alternative Inca Trail where as we were doing the classic inca trail which we started the next day. We saw a few sites before we split up (we went to Sacsayhuaman together). After that Rach, Kristy and myself got picked up in a white van and taken somewhere......that's pretty much how it started, luckily they knew who we were and explained that they were our tour guides for the day, and there were other people there as well so seemed legit. Thankfully we didn't get taken hostage or anything and instead they took us to some more amazing Inca sites! After that we got dropped off at a hotel which was amazing (well it had hot water and a toilet that worked!). That night we went to bed early as we were starting the Inca trail the next day!!!! Oh and it's actually really hard to upload photos off my cameras as I need a computer and lots of time to upload it. So far I've just been backing them up on my memory stick which has taken a full hour today. Will try again tomorrow but if I can't then I'll just load them off my phone. I'll put some ones of Machu Picchu though as I can't wait to show you some!
