Pulled out of Southaven, Ms. picking up I-40 westbound through Arkansas into Texas. Turned over 50,000 miles at 2:35 PM, MM 24 on I-30 near Fulton, Ar. Had trouble with dash AC and of course on one of the hottest days of the year. Temp. reached 104 inside RV. Spent the night at Wal-Mart in Sherman, Tx.., thank goodness the generator was working, and we were able to get cool before bedtime. Next day temp. were still hot 100+. Made decision to drive to Albuquerque, NM to get Ac repaired at Camping World, a 629 mile pull. Spent the night at Enchanted Trails RV Park next to Camping World. Found out the next day they did not work on chassis AC, but gave us name of shop in town that they used, but we had to stay over another day.

Ever have a problem with AC or engine in Albuquerque go to Statkus Engine Services. Very pleased with the work, and the timely manner repairs were made. We are westbound for Rancho Verde RV Park in Camp Verde, Az. George, the owner and Mike, campground manager, made us feel welcome and at home. Camp Verde is located south of Flagstaff in the Sedona, Az. area. Drove up the hill to La Fonda Mexican Restaurant, and enjoyed Chili Relleno prepared in a way that I have never had anyplace else. THEY WERE GREAT!!!

Tomorrow we start sightseeing, and hopefully I will take some decent pictures. See you then.
