We dropped Karlie off at Barker Lounge at 9am and headed to Dollywood. It opened at 10am and we got there and parked in plenty of time. It is a very organized place, much like Disneyland, so things go very smoothly. It is located in a very wooded setting, in fact you wouldn't even know it was there if it weren't for the signs. They give you a schedule of all the shows with the times and theaters that they are in. We got a coffee and cinnamon roll and developed a plan of attack for the day. We fit in five shows between 10:30 and 5pm. It started with a Gospel group, the Kingdom Heirs. They were amazing and it was a great way to start the day. We ended the day with Dreamland Drive-in and it was my 2nd favorite so the day was ended on a high note. Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of Dollywood because what we did mostly was see shows. There are plenty of shops as well as artisan stores who show you their wares and how things are made, i.e. soap, candles, brooms, blacksmiths, sandblasting signs, etc. It is very interesting and fun

If you notice the sign on the barrel it said Prof. Clovis Duburry on it. Just had to get a picture of it.
to see.

I would highly recommend that you visit Dollywood if you are ever in the area because it is not just a venue for kids. There is something for every age as evidenced by the people who were there. Don and I were actually commenting that we wished Disneyland would take a lesson from this park and follow some of the things that they do because we felt there was more across the board things for all ages where Disneyland is mainly rides and shopping.

We are moving to another RV park tomorrow for a few more days. It is closer into town and there are still more things that we want to do here. I think I am caught up on the blogging for now but I will get behind again I know. I haven't been very good at keeping up on them this time around. Either I am getting lazy or I have just been too busy. I prefer to think it is the latter. HA! Talk soon! 😊
