Stockholm Seagulls
Stockholm Seagulls So Stockholm was our first stop on Summer Tour and was also the place we would return back to at the end. Here we met our Estonian tour guide and the other people who we'd be spending the rest of the week with. Our university History Society dominated the group on tour, but it was still great meeting new people!
Stockholm had a
really cool culture.. we laughed at the amount of hairdressers and advertisements as they seemed to be everywhere, as well as the amount of people riding bikes! We were told that people on bicycles get right of way and that we can't walk on the labelled bike paths. It was quite cool and a friend I met from Germany said that similarly everyone back home travels around by bike, because it's 'good for your health and the environment', so it's a shame Britain is quite hilly (and we're all so lazy).
Day 1 in Stockholm was really just a travel day... later we went to the Ferry Terminal which was pretty exciting for me because I've never travelled on a Ferry before, everyone was taking the mick saying that 'the Welsh aren't cultured' - #TourBanter ... it
Tour Tshirts!
Tour Tshirts! was
huuuuge! It was here I saw probably the best sunset I've seen, and there's a lot of competition after those I've seen in Aberystwyth! We went to the back of the ferry and looked back at all the Swedish greenery and small islands we were passing, and joined by some pretty fiesty seagulls.

I'm eager to hear more of your first impression and specifics about how their culture is different from yours. The bike paths in the Netherlands are crazy so I bet these are similar.
