In the past week or so things have been getting downright exciting around here. Those in charge have decided a happiness campaign is in order and they're doing a pretty good job.

In the past week I've read reports about free concerts, free food, and even bringing in ponies into Bangkok. For fun. I've read about people being upset that the curfew would make it difficult to go and watch the World Cup, so all of the World Cup is available for free to everyone in Thailand. No cable required. I find myself wishing I had a TV.



And now, my favorite development: there's no more curfew. Anywhere.



This surely is the land of smiles!
