On Wednesday afternoon we got the train to Bratislava. Although we had reserved seats, we couldnt figure out where they were exactly so we ended up being shifted half way through the journey by some angry French people. We eventually made it to our least favourite Hostel so far - The Orange Hostel. Which appeared to be run by 12 year olds who were unhelpful. Certainly not as glamorous as our last hostel. Started the sightseeing, one hour later finished the sightseeing having seen everything touristy. In fairness the castle was interesting and the views incredible. We also got to visit a Da Vinci exhibition of his inventions.

On our second night we headed out, had a few beers and ended up in another dodgy house club, but it was not as good. Bratislava is definitely a shirt and pressed trousers kind of town, so we made a real effort not that anyone noticed. Other than that it is a beauiful old town, but probably too small for three nights.

On Saturday we decided to stop off in Budapest, rather than take 3 trains over 12 hours to Zagreb.

Ronan's hair
Hey guys! Sounds like your having a great time, and every second word seems to be beer...which is all good! Also, have noticed Ronan's hair has shortened somewhere between Prague and Bratislava...mmm..suspicious. Could it have been a haircut?!

hostel
Ciaran It looks like you have managed to make your hostel room in each city look like your natural habitat back in Ireland. You have started the "upside down look" trend in bedroom design across Eastern Europe.
