I am quite used to riding 80 km or more a day. As usual I started early, hoping not to ride too Long in the midday sun.

However, I was unlucky. I followed my GPS to ride along the Phuket Airport landing Strip just to find the road closed and guarded. And on the way back, I had a flat tire. It was not my first (I had one in my days in Khanom) but this time the bicycle was fully loaded. In the heat it cost me more than one hour to unload, fix and load again...

When I arrived finally around 2 p.m. at my friends house in Phuket, nobody was there. i broke in and finally was able to relax in the pool.

The "official" part of my journey is now finished since I changed Krabi for Phuket. The total riding distance without riding in Khanom was about 1000-1100 km. I am unsure what to do now. Go home? Go to Singapur (too hot)? Go back to Khanom? Go to Bangkok by Train and ride to Chiang Mai by bicycle?

Any suggestions?
