Switzerland was just by far my favorite place on this Eurotrip. It took us 16 hours by train to arrive in Switzerland from Paris-Leon. We had a bit of trouble locating the exact spot in Switzerland I was trying to get to. I wanted this very specific town that is home to Diga Verzascas. This is the famous 007 Bungee jump from The James Bond Movie "Skyfall". It is the second highest in the world, first being the ones in Victoria Falls, Africa. Anyways, back to the train. So we are taking a train through Switzerland and our train stops at this military academy of some sorts.. (I didn't even know the Swiss had a military) and a platform full of boys get on the train. There were so many guys that got on the train it was amazing we all fit. They were talking in German, Sweedish, and French and just a random mix of languages that I was trying to listen in on. After a while of them being on the train... all of a sudden I hear from behind me "And all pretty girls say, I'm Pretty Fly for a white guy! duhhh na nan an". Yes. A train full of military boys from Switzerland are now singing Offspring's Pretty Fly. I don't think I'll ever forget that moment. So my dad and I arrive at the train station in Lucano and take a taxi to the hotel. (Not many hostels in Switzerland).

By the way, the Swiss have funny money. It looks fake. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but the coins look huge and thin, and kind of like monopoly money. That and the they have denominations that start (bills) 100, 50, 20, 5, and (coins) 20, 10, 5, 2, 1, 1/2 and so on. I still have not figured out how much a 1/2 coin amounts to.

Chocolate here was amazing. It melted in your mouth. It did not have the waxy kind of feeling that candy bars here in the states do. We bought like 3 bars but I could only eat one or two pieces of one bar because it was so rich.

The first night there, I broke the hotel. No joke. I had my converter from 220v to 120v in the outlet with my phone plugged in and we were going to bed and we had just taken showers so I started to turn out the lights, one by one. The last light I turned off was the one on the wall by my converter. I flipped the switch and the next thing I hear is a HUGE POP. well crap. Now we have no electricity. I walk down to the front desk in my pajamas (I could not see anything in the room to get dressed) and had to explain in English ( I know no sweedish) that my room had no electricity. Turns out I burnt the fuses on the entire floor. Sorry about that Switzerland. I wanted to see if my converter still worked, so I stupidly touched the extra prong that comes with the converter to see if it was working and I electrocuted myself. haha very funny. I FB messaged my best friend, and her only words were "Ha... that WOULD happen to you".

So the town I was trying to get to with the bungee jump was a farther away than I thought so my dad rented a car and we made our way to Diga Verzascas. Switzerland roads are insane. They are curvy, and make very sharp turns to go up and down mountains. And the highway only has exits that lead to towns, so if you miss your stop, you keep driving to the next town to exit, find a round-a-bout and turn around in the other direction and hopefully not miss it. The view from the car was amazing. We were on a lake with towns, and right behind were darker mountains, and behind those mountains were snow-capped mountains. Absolutely breathtaking.

We get to Diga Verzascas and I am SO ready to bungee jump. I have never bungee jumped before, but I have skydived a few times and love to get my adrenaline rush. I will post the video for the bungee jump on here somehow. My dad made me record a message before I went that "He is in no way responsible for any accidental injuries or death that may occur due to my bungee jumping. He has tried to talk me out of the 007 bungee jump may times, but, I'm a badass." [

Bungee jumping was awesome. You literally take a leap of faith and fall. The only thing I would change is that with skydiving you get the same feeling but it lasts longer. I did have fun though, and would totally do it again if I didn't have to pay for it.

Switzerland also has warm beer. I thought it was a myth, but no, really, warm beer. But in all fairness it was freaking cold so warm beer beats no beer any day. Me and my dad ate at this restaurant on the lake that had cordon-blu (spelling?) and the waiter asked me if I wanted the porter sauce. Now, thanks to my random obsession with Chef Gordon Ramsey and every cooking show he has ever invented, I knew what porter sauce was and was able to tell the waiter that yes, in fact, I did want it. (Proud TV knowledge coming in handy here.)

Once, when I was walking in this alleyway, I hear a piano. I walked around the corner and there was this guy in a full tux playing a grand piano in the middle of the street. The music was amazing and intricate and just a once in a moment life-time experience. I truly respect those people that have such a passion for music and play so well and share it with others on a street corner.

One really cool thing about Switzerland is that if you want a pizza, they have little boxes on the sidewalk (comparable to our Red-Boxes here in the states) that will cook you a pizza for the correct amount of Swiss franks. This I am sure comes in handy when all the shops close down around 3pm and you are hungry. Still thought it was pretty cool

More on Switzerland later.
