We left Dublin in the morning and went to Wales on a ferry. Then grabbed the train from Holly Head to "Manchester United Football Ground Railway Station". We were going Glasgow so we got off at Warrington, then to Chester were we stayed the night.

In the morning we walked around the town of Chester and saw the oldest part where the wall goes around the town. There were facts along the path on what it looked like, the life style of the Victorian times and the uses of the wall and it's fortifications. We walked by the water and 2 swans 2 ugly ducklings and a bunch of ducks followed us as we walked the rivers edge.

There is a strong Roman influence in the town. While we were eating lunch a group of children dressed as Roman guards marched past us. They were on a school tour recreating the day in the life of a Roman soldier. There were spots that showed Roman architecture and fort walls. I believe that the Romans were a big part of the history of Chester and the whole area . When we were walking back to the train station we saw a violinist busking on the street.

At 1:50pm we boarded the train to Glasgow, Scotland. Once we got there we got on another train to Gourouk where we took the ferry to Dunoon and met our cousins.

Good night and sweet dreams.
