The weather forecast was poor for today, but it turned out not too bad to start with, so we set off along the canal hunting the caches of course. We walked along to the Chirk Marina - not ocean going yachts, but a watering hole for the canal boats- where we had a nice lunch at the boathouse before wandering back. We had planned to make a longer day of it, but suddenly a monsoon hit from nowhere and we were soaked, so we headed wetly back to the car. This may be my last blog, as on Saturday Ineke and I are going on a mystery caching event to Tartarus -the underworld - where we need hard hats and torches to met Charon. They may not let us out if we are found wanting............... Is this a good idea?

It all looks lovely
What a beautiful place to have lunch. I love all the canals and the long boats. I hope that you dried out okay and didn't catch a cold.
